What is personal home care?
Personal home care, sometimes called domiciliary care, means a trained carer visits you in your own home at the times you choose. Visits can be as short as a morning check-in or as involved as several calls a day, and they are built entirely around what you need and how you like to live.
At Farrell Healthcare our home care is nurse-led. Every new client starts with a free assessment by a qualified nurse, and your care plan is reviewed regularly by our experienced management team, so the support you receive changes as your needs change.

Frequently asked questions
How many home care visits can I have?
As many or as few as you need. Some clients have one visit a week, others have several visits every day. We agree the times and length of each visit with you during your free assessment, and we can change them as your needs change.
Will I have the same carer each time?
We work hard to give you a small, consistent team of carers so you see familiar faces. Our carers live locally across the Fylde Coast, which helps us keep visits regular and reliable.
How quickly can home care start?
Call us on 01253 759613 and we will arrange your free nurse assessment as soon as possible. Once your care plan is agreed we will talk you through start dates, including if care is needed urgently, for example after a hospital stay.
Can you help if my needs change?
Yes. Your care plan is reviewed regularly by our nurse-led management team. If your health or circumstances change, we will update your plan and the support you receive.
